The second annual Swing for Aven Memorial Tournament is being held in
honor of Aven Moffat. Aven passed away August 13, 2021 at the young age of six.
He lost his life to Primary Amoebic Meningoencephalitis (PAM) caused by the
amoeba Naegleria fowleri. In his memory, Amazing Aven’s Quest for Amoeba Aware-
ness was established.

In 2023, the first annual Swing for Aven Memorial Tournament
raised more than $170,000  All proceeds raised from this tournament will further support the foundation’s mission to improve and advance early detection strategies as well as medical treatments for Naegleria fowleri and PAM. We strive to increase awareness within the medical and
the public communities.

         New this year! Join us on Sunday April 21st for Aven's "Par-tee" for a cause!  Enjoy cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres and live music while learning more about the work the foundation is doing and have an opportunity to hear from Aven's family and some of the key researchers in the field!  

This event requires a separate ticket.  Aven's "Par-Tee" is open to all who would like to attend, even those not participating in Monday's tournament.  Please note this event is adults only and tickets are limited.  Dress is country club casual.
